Summer 2017

An American and a Russian chess grandmaster face off at the height of the Cold War, when political tensions have reached a boiling point. The situation gets even more complicated when the American's second falls in love with the Russian. It is a story of love, betrayal, politics, and a simple board game, set during the glorious eighties.

Auditions are this week!

Tuesday, 5/30, 7-10 pm
Wednesday, 5/31, 7-10 pm
Thursday, 6/1 7-10 pm

All auditions will be held in the Private Dining Rooms 1 and 2 on the 3rd floor of the Stratton Student Center (building W20) at MIT.

WHAT TO PREPARE:
Anything that shows off your voice (preferably in English)! The piece can be accompanied or not. If you will be singing an accompanied piece that is not Gilbert and Sullivan, please bring sheet music for the accompanist. Copies of all the G&S scores will be available. We are looking for people of ALL LEVELS OF MUSICAL ABILITY AND EXPERIENCE. 

IMPORTANT NOTE: If you would like to audition for the role of Freddie, we will ask you to perform a section of 'One Night in Bangkok.'
